In the last thousands of years, cats have taken over much of their own breeding. Initially, cats were used for hunting and killing rodents. As the years progressed, we started more like our cat breeds. Now days, there’s many different breeds of cats – which you can tell if you are seriously considering.
These days there are more than 70 specific cat breeds, which are recognized through cat registries. There are many registries that will distinguish around 40 breeds or so, as they exclude the more household breeds such as tigers. Many forms as there are well, including wild cats that have long hair.
Some cat breeds that go back quite a bit of history is the root cause. Some such as the Japanese bobtail can be traced back over 1,000 years in history. These cats were very general and well known throughout Medieval Japan. Now days though, they are a myth in Japan and all the world over.
More common breeds found in North America are alley cat, long haired cats and Persian cats are included. Siamese cats are also common, although they are well known to be destructive and a bad idea. Persian cats are very popular, proven partner for love. Persian cats can be very expense, depending from where you find it and what kind of Persian cat it is.
Alley cats are most common in North America. There are in fact quite a few different breeds, although most of us now view them as alley cats. They are doing well as a pet, though there are literally thousands of them in existence. More than any other breed of domesticated cats are known, and they continue to breed until they will stop. Alley cats are one of the bred, as there are millions of cats that are.
