If you are a cat owner, you have probably realized that cats are unique creatures. They are much different from dogs. This being the case, their training needs are also different. They have more independent personalities, and you will have different behavioral issues as well.

Every pet owner wants to pick the best pet food for their pet. Studies show that the right pet food is essential in helping your pet live a full, happy life. Never pick a pet food just because the animal on the package looks happy. You always want to make sure that you have the right pet food for your particular pet.

Whilst the era of 7 or 8 was once regarded as geriatric for medium sized dogs, with much healthier lifestyles and great veterinary treatment, contemporary dogs are now living comfortably into their teens, and there’s no purpose that these golden years ought to be something other than gentle and comfortable. Accurate, wellbeing will become a lot more of an concern to be a k9 ages, but the same as with humans, consideration to preventive nutrition for senior dogs will go a lengthy solution to maintaining man’s best friend in tip leading condition.

If you have a cat you must ensure that you take special care over its nutrition and diet. A feline diet is quite specific and you shouldn’t be tempted to give it scraps like you do a dog.

I just got a kitten a couple of days ago from the Humane Society. It is 6 months old and a couple of days. And I want to know what age can she go off kitten food.

I have a 3 month old kitten and an 11 year old cat. Both of them like to eat little and often so their feeding bowls are always out. They both enjoy dry biscuits and recently I’ve noticed that the kitten will push the big cat out of her way so she can get to his food, he then just wanders over to her food.
Is it important that she’s eating the right sort of food for her age? She really seems to prefer adult cat food.

How old should the kitten be before switching to kitten food? Her mommy cat seems to be getting tired and crabby all the time so I wonder if the kitten should start eating on its own. She’s a month old now and has started to run and play so she needs a lot of energy. Thanks and happy holidays to all!

We just rescued a very small kitten. I am not sure how old she is, but our appt isn’t until next Tuesday. She is able to eat dry food mixed with a little water to make it easier to chew. Should I still provide her kitten formula for vitamins and nutrients?

Keep in mind that you pet supplies will change based on what type of pet you have, if you have others, and their species. If you are getting a type of pet for the first time, you should really research what you need. The Internet is a great tool to find out what works for other owners. The associate at the pet store will also be able to help you, but keep in mind that he or she may be on commission.
