What to do about kitten diarrhea? Diarrhea is runny unformed stool, your kitten may be experiencing this unpleasant condition for a number of reasons. Sometimes a kitten will just get diarrhea, – other times it is a sign of a very unwell little kitten.

Fading Kitten Syndrome (FKS) is similar to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in humans and may be blamed when kittens under 12 weeks of age fail to thrive and grow. Like SIDS, FKS is a fatal “mystery illness” in which the exact cause of death is often not known. In general, FKS affects kittens born to weak mothers or born into unhealthy surroundings.

Atishoo! So your kitten is sneezing and you don’t know what to do. First of all, know that a sneeze or two is often just that a kitten sneeze or two, nothing to worry about. However a kitten who is constantly sneezing may be demonstrating that she has a more serious condition. What are some reasons a kitten might sneeze?

I got my 5- 6 week old kitten from my friend. (Her mother sadly died). I am aware kittens are meant to be playful and active because they are like little children but my kitten is really crazy. She jumps and runs a lot, climbs walls, curtains, scratches and bites everyones feet and hands. She is so hyperactive that one day she injured herself on the stairs so that makes us even more reluctant to take her out of her room. She doesn’t use her scratching post or play with her toys. Help!

I have a 3 month old kitten and an 11 year old cat. Both of them like to eat little and often so their feeding bowls are always out. They both enjoy dry biscuits and recently I’ve noticed that the kitten will push the big cat out of her way so she can get to his food, he then just wanders over to her food.
Is it important that she’s eating the right sort of food for her age? She really seems to prefer adult cat food.
