i saw this musical as a child. i loved every second of it.
It kind of has different music to it, but nevertheless, great music…. the story line is a little rugged,,… all the cats that are preforming are showing their personality for the lead cat to pick them for another life…..at the jelicle ball. I have a funny story to tell ’bout Cats: I was little like 6 or 7 n before the show my dad was playing with the 2 braids in my hair. as the “cats” were leaving they exited behind us Jemima 1 of my favorite cats played with my braids as well swinging them side to side when I turned around and saw her she tour jete’d to where the others were. my dad laughing at me the whole time I was both terrified and awed

jackiewacky you’re exactly right I like the older version’s music better but the newer one’s choreography ALOT better. Grizzobella is the shunned cat’s name Her song Memory may be my favorite in the wholr thing and it has a lot of meaning into it no one is allowed to touch her but when she falls Jemima sings along with her-the difference in their voices striking- and new energy seems to fill Grizzobella

A tribe of Cats called “jellicles” are annualy gathered at a junkyard, and each song performed is an audition for their leader, Old Deuteronomy (the large cat), who will decide which cat will be chosen to ascend to the heaviside layer, and be reborn. Also, during this, Macavity, the CATS’ villan kidnaps old deuteronomy, and is later brought back by Mistoffelees . Also Grizabella, the rundown, old glamour cat strives for redemption by singing the song memory which gets her chosen to be reborn
The worst musical, ever.
This reminds me of some kind of weird and terrifying nightmare. Maybe its because I know nothing about theater, but I can’t believe that anyone would actually pay to see this.
Imagine this for a moment, YouTubers: A hardened criminal refuses to come clean to a murder he committed. The chief of police decides to place him inside a room to watch ‘Cats.’ I guarantee the criminal will confess to everything!
@princessmcdoy it’s about a bunch of cats having a party. The miniscule bit of plot is about the leader choosing one cat to be reborn. I like to think of it as being about aliens, it makes a little more sense that way.
All of you haters out there? Cut it out!Stop putting your fucking hate comments on this video. This is the best damn musical out there. Those of you who post hate on this obviously have NO class, or have ANY idea what a good musical is so shut the hell up and go suck on your bottles, you babies!

I saw Cats when I was younger and couldn’t
wait to see it as an Adult. I have seen a lot of musicals including; Rent, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Grease, Fiddler, Oklahoma…….Cats is one of my favorites. A must see for everyone especially? cat lovers.
i love this muscial i went and saw it in London and thought it was brilliant! i would recommend it!
